Ben graduated from Orland Consolidated School in 1996. His high school of choice was George Stevens Academy, Blue Hill, where he graduated in 2000. He then attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, from 2000-2003, where he studied merchandizing and was a member of the University Traveling Bowling Team. He was employed by Walmart, Bangor, as an associate in the electronics department. Recently, he had taken a part-time job as a card-dealer at Hollywood Casino. Ben enjoyed bowling, having bowled eight perfect 300 games, in Bangor. Currently, he was on a men's league on Mondays and a mixed couples league on Fridays at Family Fun Bowling Center. There, he met and formed many friendships throughout his life. Ben married Christine Gail Burrill, the love of his life, July 13, 2002. They brought into this world four beautiful children; his son Thomas James Johnson has been waiting for them in heaven since April 20, 2007. His tragic death happened when he tried to save the lives of his three other children: a son, Benjamin IV; a daughter, Leslie; and son, Ryan.
He is survived by his wife, Christine G. Johnson; his loving parents, Benjamin H. Johnson II and Ethel "Sis" Johnson; and two sisters, Ronnelle and husband, George Miller, and Jennifer and husband, Shawn DesJardin. He will be sorely missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
