MILFORD - Angie E. Trott, 94, died peacefully Jan. 25, 2013, at a Bangor hospital with family by her side. She was born Feb. 4, 1918, in Milford, a daughter of Edwin Adorine and Lyndal Martha (Smith) Treadwell.

During her younger years, Angie traveled extensively with her husband as his construction business took them all along the East Coast. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and made and donated hundreds of pairs of mittens to various organizations and her church. She was a member of United Baptist Church of Old Town. She always attended and enjoyed the Treadwell and Smith/Smart family reunions.

She is survived by her son, Russell Treadwell and his wife, Christine, of Carmel; three grandchildren, Russell Treadwell Jr. of Bridgewater, Va., Steven Treadwell and his wife, Lisa, of Carmel and Melinda Treadwell of Marlboro, N.H.; four great-grandchildren, Jacob and Ian Treadwell of Carmel and Autumn Treadwell and Brittany Seale of Bangor; two sisters, Ida Whiting of Milford and Geneva Eastman of LaGrange; a brother, Shirley "Jake" Treadwell of Milford; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Trott, in 1973; and six siblings, Waldo Treadwell, Durwood Treadwell, Imogene Shaffer, Myrtle Irving, Wynona Hesseltine and Joyce Buxton.

Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A funeral service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at United Baptist Church of Old Town with the Rev. Bruce Stevens officiating. Spring interment will be at Milford Cemetery.
