FORT KENT - Andrew Phillip Pelletier, 53, passed away at home, May 10, 2013. He was born Dec. 10, 1959, in Fort Kent, the youngest son of Leopold (Paul) and Leonette (Nanette) (Theriault) Pelletier.

He graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 1978, from Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle in 1997, and from University of Maine in Fort Kent with a degree in Forestry in 2012. During his lifetime he worked at Kent Inc; Daigle Oil Company; Maine Public Services; and finally as a forester with LandVest of Clayton Lake. Andrew was a very kind person, willing to be helpful and supportive to family and friends. He was very active physically bicycle riding, running, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and physical exercises. He taught himself to play guitar when he was a teenager and played in a band for about 20 years. He attended Catholic Church in Fort Kent and Soldier Pond, and was Cursillo living fifth day. Andrew will be sincerely missed by all.

Andrew was predeceased by his son, Dustin; and his father, Paul. He is survived by his daughter, Abby Lin Pelletier of Newport; his mother, Nanette from the Sly Brook side of Eagle Lake; his sister, Caroline Cyr and her husband, David, of Van Buren; his brother, David Pelletier and his wife, Beverly, of Fort Kent. He is survived by his nephews, Kenneth Dube of Plaisted, Phillip Dube and his wife, Makenzie, of Gonic, N.H., Darrin Pelletier and his fiancée, Ashley Hafford, of Fort Kent; nieces, Christine Lyman and her husband, Shane, of Bradley, Julia Gardner and her husband, Tyler, of Lincoln and Andrea Pelletier of Fort Kent. Finally he is survived by his two great-nieces, Estelle Dube and Ava Gardner; and a great-nephew, Dominique Layman.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, at Sacred Heart Church, Soldier Pond. He will be buried at Frenchville St Luce Cemetery. After the burial there will be a lunch at noontime at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Fort Kent. Contributions in his memory may be made to Edgar J.
