HUDSON - Alton J. Bouchard, 59, died unexpectedly Feb. 17, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1953, in Waterville, son of William J. and Alma A. (Duprey) Bouchard.
Alton loved fishing, snowmobiling, hunting and enjoyed the outdoors tremendously. At a very young age he held a passion for planes, especially seaplanes. He owned more than hundreds of them in his lifetime. His dream was to write a book about seaplanes one day. Alton loved being a jokester and laughing. He especially will be missed by his buddy Maxx the dog, who he loved teasing mostly. Alton served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1972 to 1974, and was honorably discharged. He was the owner of PK Floats, Lincoln, since 2000, where he manufactured and engineered floats for planes. Alton was a member of Seaplane Pilots Association, Airplane Owners and Pilots Association, General Aviation Manufactures Association, Maine Snowmobile Association, National Rifle Association, Sebasticook Lodge No. 146 AF & AM, Clinton, and Anah Shriners.
Alton is survived by his wife, Anna Baglay-Bouchard; three sisters, Amanda Raymond and husband, Arthur, Carrie Daigle and husband, Lew, and Belinda Stoughton and husband, John; two brothers, Irving Bouchard and wife, Debbie, and Dale Bouchard; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Linda Bouchard.
