HARMONY and WELLINGTON - Almond Franklin Chadbourne, 87, died May 3, 2012, at a Skowhegan nursing home. He was born March 30, 1925, in Harmony, a son of Preston and Albra (Foss) Chadbourne. He graduated from Harmony High School, class of 1943. He was a dairy farmer his entire life and was a lifelong resident of Harmony and Wellington. He was a former member of Harmony Odd Fellows. He is survived by a son, David Chadbourne of Harmony; two daughters, Sharon Bagley of Harmony and Linda Fultz of Stillwater, Okla.; brother, Leo Chadbourne of Dover-Foxcroft; one sister, Arlene Richardson of Skowhegan; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main St., Newport. A graveside funeral and committal service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Chadbourne Cemetery, Harmony.
