BRADLEY - Robert R. LeBlanc, 85, died Jan. 18, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 18, 1927, in Old Town, a son of Felician and Margaret LeBlanc.
He was a graduate of Old Town High School and then proudly served with the U.S. Navy
during World War II
. He was employed at the Bangor Daily News for many years. Robert was an avid coin collector and loved fishing, horses and harness racing. He was a supporter of local sports teams and New England professional teams.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlean (Tardiff) LeBlanc of Bradley; a son, Robb P. LeBlanc and his wife, Raina, of Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Lorraine Veilleux of Brewer; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by seven siblings.
