Myron Linwood Bradbury

CORINTH - Myron Linwood Bradbury, 71, passed away peacefully March 6, 2014, at his home with his loving family by his side. Myron was born Oct. 16, 1942, in Hermon, the son of Edgar and Edith (Whalen) Bradbury. Myron was affectionately known as Mike to his many friends.

After graduating from high school, he began a 20 year career with the U.S. Navy and was proud to be a veteran. Upon retiring from the Navy, he began several adventures as a Postal Carrier, a Constable, a Paralegal, a Pvt. Investigator, a Courier, and with his partners, developed the area known as Bradbury Drive. He also owned a pizza shop in Alaska, and a restaurant in Corinth. His most recent endeavor was owning Mike's Downunder Bait and Tackle Shop, which he enjoyed tremendously. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His last hunting trip for moose was this past November, and was spent with his daughter Lisa and best friend Doug. Even though ill at the time, he was determined to go and get his moose. He cherished that time and didn't care that his moose got away. He also loved his early mornings spent at Robinson's with the boys, especially his democratic sidekick, Larry. Larry was a great friend, taking Mike to his many appointments. They shared many political arguments together. Mike was also a member of Pacific Masonic Lodge, AF & AM of Exeter.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Agrell) Bradbury; a sister, Ruth Libby of Bangor; daughters, Lisa Tilton and her husband, Jeff, of Corinth, Lynn Willard of Holden, and Randi Norwood of Corinth, who lovingly cared for Mike during his final weeks; a son, Sgt. Jeremy Norwood of Korea; three granddaughters, Terri-Lynn Fowler of Thorndike, Tara Heal of Bangor, and Taylor Heal of Holden; great-grandchildren, Iva, Willow, Kira and Calvin; and a special nephew, Donald Bradbury II. He is also survived by Doug Cunningham and Paige of Benedicta and Dana Heal of Holden who Mike thought of as his sons, and Jill Carver of Patton. Mike will be greatly missed by his three dachshunds, whom he called "his girls." Mike was predeceased by his first wife, Rosalie; a brother, Donald Bradbury I; and sister, Roberta Lawson.
