ST. FRANCIS - Joyce Ouellette, 69, died Feb. 25, 2013, at an Eagle Lake health care facility, due to an extended illness, surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. She was born March 2, 1943, in St. Francis, the daughter of Maxime and Yvonne (Michaud) Jandreau.
She was recently employed at Moose Point Camp as a cook for several years, previously at Sears for many years and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, St. Francis.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ervin Ouellette of St. Francis; her children, Jerry Ouellette and his wife, Yvaina, of Clair, New Brunswick, Peggy Ouellette of Portland, Robert Ouellette of Kagoshima, Japan, Cathy Sabatine of Portland, Joey Ouellette and his wife, Andrea, of Fort Kent and Donnie Ouellette and his wife, Missy, of Westbrook; two brothers, Clayton Jandreau of St. Francois, New Brunswick, and Wallie Jandreau of Fort Kent; two sisters, Gloria Dube of Fort Kent and Diane Michaud of Portage; and 10 grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy, Megan, Sam, Henry, Avery, Gabriel, Raymond, Hayley and Ryan. She was predeceased by a brother, Warren Jandreau.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father Richard Ouellette officiating.
