Jason David Cynewski

CORINTH AND SOUTH BERWICK - Jason David Cynewski, 25, died Nov. 14, 2012, in Corinth, as a result of an auto accident. He was born May 31, 1987, in Dover, N.H., son of David and Lori (Knapp) Cynewski.

Jason grew up as a member of St. Michael's Church, South Berwick and attended Marshwood schools in South Berwick. In his senior year, he transferred to and graduated from Foxcroft Academy. Jason was well known as an accomplished football and basketball athlete at both schools. Jason was an avid follower of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially both sets of grandparents whom he was especially close to. He also enjoyed running, wake boarding, and snow skiing, especially time spent at Sugarloaf. Jason loved music especially Bob Dylan.

He is survived by his parents; sister, Lindsey of South Berwick; paternal grandparents, Richard and Janice Cynewski of Corinth; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Lois Knapp of The Villages, Fla.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and a very special friend, Christina Dunn and son, Kisaac.

Friends may call 3-4 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where a memorial service will be conducted 4 p.m. with Pastor David Lassell officiating.
