LOWELL - Hollis "Pat" J. Langley Sr., 78, born Sept. 13, 1934, in Frankfort, to Eugene and Gladys (Sands) Langley, died peacefully Dec. 21, 2012, with his family by his side at Hollis Jr. and wife, Diann Langley's home.
He attended Lowell schools and Lee Academy. He was employed by BridgeCorp. for 25 years retiring as a senior superintendent. He was a member of Community Evangel Temple Church, Lincoln. Pat will be remembered by his heart of gold, sense of humor and love for his family. He also loved to spend his winters in Florida with his wife.
Pat is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Rella; mother-in-law, Vivian Ketch; seven children and their spouses, Hollis and wife, Diann Langley, Christine Currie and husband, Brian Currie Sr., son-in-law, Steven Ogden, Raymond Langley, Terri Langley, Roger and wife, Jennifer Langley, and Gina Langley and partner, Angela Hauser; 23 grandchildren, Matthew Langley, Holly Langley, Patrick Langley, Kirt Currie, Brian Currie Jr., Barry Currie, Bart Currie, Tim Ogden, Renne Pomeroy, Rebecca Ogden, Bruce Langley, David Parent II, Michele Gallant, Jen Parent, Erin Adams, Emma Brooks, Austin Langley, Alexys Langley, Sophie Brooks, Noah Langley, Jacob Langley, Sebastian Langley and Julie Langley; 24 great-grandchildren, Nick Langley, Stuart Langley, Naomi Muniz, Jose Fernandez, Reuben Langley, Hannah Langley, Kiera Currie, Kody Currie, Brandon Currie, Kendra Currie, Aidan Currie, Taebria Currie, Robyn Lily Ogden, Brewer Ogden, Mercedes Pomeroy, Marissa Pomeroy, Trent Ballard, Neo Langley, Atreyu Langley, Israel Langley, Amy Gallant, Christopher Gallant Jr., Alexa Gallant and Jayda Lyday; one great-great-grandchild, Elizabeth Langley; three siblings, Carroll and wife, Lorain Langley, Mildred Gallagher, and Jackie Greenleaf; and many loving nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by his parents, Gladys and Eugene; brothers, Clayton and Blake; sister, Esther; daughter, Robin Ogden; and great-granddaughter, Liberty Grace.
The viewing will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Community Evangel Temple, Lincoln, where the funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28.
