Frank A. LaValley

PLYMOUTH - Frank A. LaValley, 78, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at his Plymouth home. He was born Jan 31, 1935, in Fall River, Mass., the son of John W. and Mary E. (Maxim) LaValley.

Frank was a U.S. Army veteran, serving his country during the Korean War. Frank and his wife, Ingrid, owned and operated the Corner Store in Newport for several years. Together they provided a foster home for many children in need. Frank loved to play bingo and play with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his loving wife of 18 years, Ingrid S. LaValley, and two brothers, Neil and John. He is survived by two children, Frank LaValley and his wife, Nichole, of Plymouth, Ingrid Gregor and her husband, Eugene, of Hampden, four grandchildren, Hayley, Kalel, Abagail and Stella, a sister, Shirley Lovering and a brother, Robert LaValley, both of Massachusetts, several nieces and nephews.
