MADAWASKA - Dennis Rose, 66, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer, at a Madawaska health care facility. He was born Dec. 16, 1946, in Fulton, N.Y., son of the late Clinton and Irene (Holden) Rose.
He served in the U.S. Air Force
for four years and was a member of the American Legion, post No. 147, Madawaska. Dennis loved his job working as a millwright at Twin Rivers Paper Company, where he enjoyed the company of his many co-workers. In his spare time, Dennis loved riding motorcycle and camping with his wife. Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Sandra (Boucher) Rose of Madawaska; daughter, Nika Martin and husband, Ron, of Madawaska; Timothy Scott Rose and wife, Elsa, of Clovis, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Dustin Martin and wife, Justine, Nicholas Martin, Michaela Martin, Phillip Rose, Kaiya Rose, Nadia Rose and Hana Rose; seven sisters; and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.
