The former Beatle died eleven years ago today, but his music still plays a part in the soundtrack of our lives. On the anniversary of his death, we don't need many words to describe the impact and beauty of his music – the songs speak for themselves. So let's give a listen to three tracks from three musical eras of Harrison's life.

With The Beatles, Harrison's compositions were generally overshadowed by the huge outpouring of Lennon/McCartney songs. But he contributed some gems…



After the breakup of The Beatles, Harrison spread his songwriting wings, releasing 14 solo albums.



Harrison had a little fun later in his life when he became a member of supergroup The Traveling Wilburys.
