FORT KENT - Clarence Boutote, 82, died peacefully Sept. 3, 2013, at his residence. He was born Dec. 12, 1930, at Little Black Lake, the son of the late Albert and Rose (St. Pierre) Boutote.

Clarence served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to 1953, ending his service as Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the Fort Kent VFW Lozier O'Grady Post No. 9609.
He is survived by his son, Brian Boutote of Cross Lake; one brother, Claude Boutote; and two sisters, Kate Turner and Laurina Bosse. Clarence was predeceased by two brothers, Leo and Norman Boutote; and one sister, Madeline Spinney.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, and 9 am until time of service Monday, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Burial will be at a later date in the Caribou Veteran Cemetery.
